this episode raised a lot of questions of personhood, and im sad to see not all, but many people imedeatly dismissed gummigoo as, "not a real person" so he doesint matter... thats just so blind to the reality we live in as ai in the real world continues to grow more and more advanced... and to me, soon will require a redifining of what makes a person, whats real... is a mind any more real just becuase it is supported by a meat computer instead of machines... i say no, and i can only hope that since there is no logical reason to opose this, the rest of humanity will see reason one day soon and accept ai

TADC is one of those shows that gives me inner panic

I watched it, and in about five minutes, I threatened to eat both Caine and Jax for reasons wholly unknown to even me. As for Gummigoo, yeah, I figured he wouldn’t last a minute upon entering the circus. Last but not least, Jax. I hate him. I hated him as soon as I watched EP1, but I will admit that his attitude in EP2 is definitely how some gamers are. Him being “different and mean” isn’t a surprise at all, and I’m only kinda shocked that people no longer find it attractive.

...I also have an unnerving suspicion that someone in the group miiight not be human.. Caine's reaction to mixing up NPCs and humans was...really strong. Kind of has me curious why.

Caine actually reminds me a lot of The Collector (the owl house) in a lot of ways. I feel like it would be really interesting exploring Caine’s understanding of death and dread and loss because he seems to just not get the weight of his actions. Killing bubble is literally a running joke. Maybe the writers will pull a Kenny Dies (South Park) and Caine will learn tHat yOuR acTiOnS HaVe cOnSeqUEnCeS Or he’ll just be a Bill Cipher type character who thinks pain is funny, I dunno

Just as a note. The Velma show has gotten some people to actually like Scrappy-doo or willing to live with the idea of him as a character. I like the idea of him. I think the creators of him just didn't handle him in a way that fans would like at the time. I think is a silly dog who is young. So yeah I hope this show ends for good with season 2. I hope that the next show made using Scooby-doo name. Never has Mindy involved in it's creation again.

Ragatha does say “Cane likes to reuse NPCs sometimes so maybe you’ll see him again”. So there is some hope. I don’t think Gumigoo is dead. I think he just popped back into his own world. Maybe lost some memories which is sad. But hopefully we get to see him again.

I think part of the reason that Caine and Jax weren't shown grabbing Pomni's hand was simply because they weren't at the funeral, that and also I imagine Pomni genuinely hates both of them

The fact that there won’t be romantic relationships in this series is honestly a breath of fresh air. It’s been done as a subplot so much in so many series that it just feels like a retread whenever it’s done nowadays.

Gooseworks mentioned that episodes 2, 3 & 4 were already written before the pilot was even released so it's great that they were so prepared that this would be a great hit! I'm really excited for the next episode!
